Babel is a celebration of the multiplicity of musical language and evolving technologies. Released on a 5-CD set, each track corresponds to a room or place within an imagined tower city. It took Doyle ten years to compose (1989-99). He worked with 48 collaborators and produced 103 individual pieces of music for Babel. 6/06/07 Roger Doyle wins the Magisterium Award at the Bourges  International Electro-acoustic Music Competition in France, for his  latest work 'The Ninth Set'.

6/11/07 The Ninth Set released on CD in Germany.

15/02/08 Doyle's radio series 'Electrolight', a history of electronic music, given the Overall Award by the Broadcasting Commission of Ireland New Adventures in Broadcasting Scheme. Listen here (needs realplayer).
